An exhibition of recent prints by Mel Sewell at Off The Wall Gallery, Alte, Algarve

Official opening (by invitation only) Thursday May 1st, 2008 at 1800 hrs.

Exhibition runs for one month until June 1st after which the gallery will be a permanent exhibition and exclusive stockist of Mel’s work in the Algarve.

This Special Edition is only available and may only be purchased from Off The Wall Gallery.

Extra Special Promotion: As part of this new relationship any of Mel’s work, from any of his websites may be purchased at a once-off offer price of €150 (including packaging in a tube and posted to anywhere in the world.) Only from May 1st to June 1st 2008. All transactions must be through Off The Wall Gallery and can be purchased with PayPal.
Each print will be signed and numbered, but limited to an edition of 12, with the image size no larger than 175x265mm and printed on Hahnemuehle 188gsm, Photo Rag, A3+ paper.

Each Giclée print in this edition is produced on A3+ (329x483mm) Hahnemuehle 188gsm Photo Rag paper and printed on an Epson R2400 printer using pigment inks. Each print is signed and numbered in an edition limited to 250. The image size is 211x322mm. Price per print is €450.

Each printed on Hahnemuehle 188gsm paper and on an eight colour Epson R2400 printer.

EDITIONS
Each print is available as one of an edition limited to 250 titled, numbered and signed by Mel Sewell.
Where ‘SIZE’ is stated, this means image size. Paper size will usually be A3+ (329x483mm) unless stated otherwise. Triptiques will comprise 3 sheets x A3+.None of the images are to scale relative to the other.
Tritone means that the image is comprised of three basic colours. (Rather like duotones are two colours.)
All images are printed on an Epson Stylus Photo R2400 machine, using Epson specified pigment prints which are guaranteed light fast for 150 years. The paper is Hahnemuehle 188gsm, Photo Rag, which is acid free, unless otherwise stated.

FRAMING
Frames are best kept simple, plain and unobtrusive. Please do not ask your picture framer, or interior designer to match the frames to your sofa, curtains, eyes, or cat.

Dear Folks,

This is a special website for special people who are interested in my 'Special Editions'.

What are my 'Special Editions'?

In the first instance they are limited edition runs of images that you can see on either my www.paintography.blogspot.com (click on this address), or www.melsbwimages.blogspot.com (click on this address) websites. They are limted editions in the sense that they are printed on a finer paper (Hahnemuehle 188gsm) and the images are smaller. They are also available in a higher print run of 250. This enables them to be classified as a new limited edition and the prices will be significantly lower, putting them perhaps, into the more 'affordable' category. They will also be available at select galleries, which I will keep you updated on.

The other area where they may classify as 'Special Edition' is that they are a 'loss leader', or that I am making a special promotion in the case of a launch, or Easter/Christmas/Mothers Day etc.

There are also greetings cards.
